The device (1) has at least one filter (6) in an air channel (26), a fan (5) with a motor (20) driving a vane wheel (19) controled by a sensor (3), an energy source and an electronic control circuit (7) controling the fan power. The sensor is a volume or mass flow sensor mounted in the air channel that is independent of the fan and is controled by the fan's control circuit so that the breathing air flow remains essentially constant.

Die Atemschutzvorrichtung weist in einem Luftkanal einen Filter (6) auf. Ein Gebläse (5) besitzt ein Luftführungsgehäuse (18) und ein in diesem drehbar gelagertes Flügelrad (19). Das Gebläse (5) ist von einem Sensor (3) gesteuert. Mittels einer elektronischen Steuerschaltung (7) wird die Leistung des Gebläses (5) gesteuert. Der Sensor (3) ist ein im Luftkanal angeordneter Volumen- oder Massenstrom-Sensor, der unabhängig vom Gebläse (5) ist und der über die Steuerschaltung (7) das Gebläse (5) so steuert, dass der Atemluftstrom im wesentlichen konstant bleibt. <IMAGE>
