Abstract (en)
Breaker comprises a frame, a housing attached to the frame, a driven cutting roller (5) equipped with cutters, and at least one breaker strip arranged in the housing and interacting with the cutting roller. The distance between the side walls (3) of the housing is adjusted by first positioning devices. The side walls have opposite-lying rotating bodies (15) engaging in the two ends of the cutting roller. At least one of the rotating bodies is connected to a rotating drive (16). The rotating bodies are attached to the side walls and a runner (17) provided on each side wall can be drawn in or out by a second positioning device (20), or the rotating bodies can be attached to cranks hinged to the side walls and rotated by third positioning devices. Preferred Features: The side walls are displaced by one or more telescopic guides and the first positioning devices comprise at least one hydraulic piston/cylinder unit. The distance between the side walls and their position relative to the frame are adjusted by the first positioning devices.

Fräsbrecher, insbesondere für den Straßen- und Wegebau, mit einem Gestell, einem an dem Gestell angebrachten Gehäuse, einer angetriebenen, mit Fräsmeißeln bestückten Fräswalze und wenigstens einer in dem Gehäuse angeordneten, mit der Fräswalze zusammenwirkenden Brecherleiste, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand der Seitenwände (3,3') des Gehäuses durch erste Stellmittel (8,9) veränderbar ist, die Seitenwände (3,3') sich gegenüberstehende, mit den beiden Enden der Fräswalze (5) in Eingriff bringbare Drehkörper (15) aufweisen, von denen wenigstens einer an einen Drehantrieb (16) angeschlossen ist, und die Drehkörper (15) a) an den Seitenwänden (3,3') angebracht sind und an jeder Seitenwand eine durch zweite Stellmittel (20) aus- und einfahrbare Kufe (17) vorgesehen ist oder b) in an den Seitenwänden (3,3') angelenkten Schwingen (40) angebracht sind, die durch dritte Stellmittel (43) schwenkbar sind. Der Fräsbrecher kann einfach auf andere Fräsbreiten und Werkzeugbestückungen umgestellt werden.Es können Frästiefen von 25 cm und mehr erreicht werden. <IMAGE>
