[origin: WO0108189A1] The invention relates to a pick-up base contact (10) for fuse cartridges (20) comprising a main cap (23) with a fill-hole for sand (29) that is closed by a sealing cap (26). The pick-up base contact (10) is configured in such a way that, in accordance with the regulations for use of a fuse cartridge (20), it makes exclusive contact with the main cap (23) of the fuse cartridge (20) and is located at a distance from the sealing cap (26) of said fuse cartridge (20). The invention also relates to a fuse combination unit and a screw-type or plug-in fuse contained in a pick-up base contact (10) of this type.
