[origin: WO0113473A1] The invention relates to a shielded electrical connector with an insulating front housing element (2) and a plurality of adjacent contact laminations (3). Said contact laminations consist of a mating contact element (4) that is received by the front housing element (2), and an intermediate element (5) that is molded into an insulating material and that is followed by a rear contact element (6). According to the invention, a rear housing element (1) is between the intermediate elements (5) provided for the purpose of shielding. The invention is further characterized in that the rear housing element a) receives the intermediate elements (5), b) the intermediate elements (5) are separated from one another in said rear housing element (1) by continuous partition walls (10), and c) the rear housing element (1) is provided with a metallized coating for the purpose of shielding.
