[origin: DE10051449A1] A mobile working machine, especially an industrial truck, has at least two operating desks on which operating elements for different functions of the machine are arranged. At most one operating desk is to be found in an active state while each further operating desk is found in a non-active state. Exclusively the operating elements arranged on the operating desk to be found in the active state can be operated effectively. There is at least one data lead (3) provided with which the operating desks can be connected together. Each operating desk is connected with an activation element (1,2) operable by an operating person. The computer unit is set up so that with the operation of an activation element it sets the operating desk assigned to the operated activation element into an active state and each further operating desk into a non-active state.
