Abstract (en)
The fired brick for walls, and especially with hollow openings, has hollow chambers (2) containing inserts (5) of waterproof cardboard or plastics with a metallic cladding. Each insert is formed as a plate (7) with a metal layer (8) as a deposited cladding on one side. The inserts are at least at a butting side of the brick, extending to the level of the mortar. The inserts are held in place by an adhesive (9).

Ein Mauerstein, insbesondere Hochlochziegel, umfasst Hohlkammern (2) und aus Pappe oder Kunststoff bestehende Einschubelemente (5) mit einer metallhaltigen Beschichtung. Jedes Einschubelement (5) ist als Platte (7) ausgebildet und einseitig mit einer Metallschicht (8) versehen. Ein solcher Mauerstein (1) dient zur Abschirmung elektromagnetischer Felder und weist eine gute Wärmedämmung auf. <IMAGE>
