Roll-up awning of the type whereby, between an awning case (2) with awning cloth (3) and a first front profile (6), folding arms (4-5) are provided which attempt to push said first front profile (6) away from the awning case (2), and whereby a second front profile (7) is provided which is connected to the first front profile (6) by means which can push these front profiles (6-7) away from each other, and whereby the free extremity of the awning cloth (3) is connected to the second front profile (7) and extends beyond the first front profile (6), characterized in that said means substantially consist in that between the first (6) and the second (7) front profiles at least one hingeable cross connection (8) is provided, of which at least one leg is connected to a spring (18) drawing the cross connection (8) towards the open condition. <IMAGE>
