[origin: EP1199450A2] The exhaust manifold (1), for mounting at the cylinder block of an internal combustion motor, has the outlet ends (3) of the exhaust channels (2) next to each other within a common adapter (4), and wholly shrouded by the adapter wall (5). The exhaust channel outlet openings have an edge section (9) sealed at the adapter wall. A web (6) is between neighboring exhaust outlet openings in the adapter, sealed against the adjacent opening edge sections (8).
