[origin: WO0100132A2] A method for controlling a fluidly (in some cases pneumatically) controlled support surface for an occupant system or bed having an array of expandable chambers or cell includes providing such expandable chambers; connecting to a source of pressurized fluid (air), and inflating to produce a massage movement that includes a sequence of inflate and deflate at each of the respective cells in accordance with a massage index for concentrating the massage action on an occupant.
