[origin: WO0181769A1] The invention relates to a feed pump that is configured as side channel pump. For connecting a shaft (3) in a rotationally fixed manner to an impeller (2), said shaft comprises two flat sections (21, 22) that are not parallel to one another. As a result, the impeller (2) can be mounted only in one provided position on the shaft (3) and thus in one provided rotational direction inside the casing (1). This enables the feed pump to be mounted in a particularly simple manner.
