[origin: EP1201156A1] The system for attaching legs (2) in the shape of an inverted L to a table top (1) comprises a central boss (3) which is mounted at the center of the underside of the table top. Primary connectors (5) are also attached to it. These cooperate with secondary connectors (6) mounted on the sections (21) of the legs which are parallel to the table top. The ends (72) of these sections are inserted into the boss, against the action of biasing springs, so that the secondary connectors are pressed into the secondary connectors.
