[origin: EP1201162A2] The chair has a seat made up of two molded wooden sections (2, 3) Grooves are cut in the underside of the upper section and corresponding grooves (30) are molded in the top surface of the lower section. The chair legs (5, 5', 6, 6') are designed as pairs whose tops are linked by curved sections (51, 61) which fit into the grooves and are held in place when the chair is assembled. Independent claims are included for: (a) a connector for linking the chairs in rows; and (b) a method for making the chair.
