[origin: EP1201314A2] The device has a housing with a motorized bell disk, a powder feed channel and a deflector for blowing air at raised pressure towards the powder cloud from the bell disk. The air deflector has a rotation-symmetrical air guide body and a peripheral surface to which air is fed to flow out along the peripheral surface as a rotation-symmetrical air curtain. The guide body has an axial through bore via which paint powder flows towards the bell disk. The device has a housing with a bell disk driven by a motor, a powder feed channel and an air deflector for blowing air at raised pressure towards the powder cloud from the bell disk. The air deflector has a rotation-symmetrical air guide body (37) and a peripheral surface (39,43) to which the deflection air is fed so that it flows out along the peripheral surface as a rotation-symmetrical air curtain. The air guide body has an axial through bore (38) via which the paint powder flows towards the bell disk.
