[origin: EP1201539A1] Form and fill machine for bags made from thermoplastics comprises a pair of rollers (6) which intermediately feeds a tube (5) of plastic through a welding and cutting head (15) which forms a transverse weld (60), the bags (21) then being separated by a gripper and conveying unit. A screen (62) is mounted parallel to the tube and air nozzles (61) are mounted at its top between it and the tube.
