Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1201867A1] The door panel (3) runs along side rails (2) and consists of interlinked sections (4) possessing an inner (5) and outer (6) shell with intermediate rigid foam insulating layer (7). Side, U-shaped end caps (8) extend in the rails' lengthwise direction. Reinforcement profiled sections (9) are joined to, and extend the length of, the section as far as the end caps. Near the end caps, reinforcement sections (10) are embedded in the insulating layer.
