[origin: WO0105666A1] The present invention relates to a container for storing food. The container has a sidewall comprising an upper and a lower part, which two parts are separated by means of a horizontal abutment shoulder. The sidewall further has stiffening corrugations extending vertically and unbroken from the lower part of the sidewall, intersecting the abutment shoulder and ending in the upper part of the sidewall, so that a 3-dimensional structure with good stiffening characteristics is defined in the upper part of the sidewall.
