[origin: WO0113144A1] The invention relates to a photoelectric barrier system with at least one light source (10) which emits a parallel bundle of beams (12) and with at least one detector element (26) arranged in the beam path of the bundle of beams (12). The aim of the invention is to provide a simple and inexpensive system for extensively monitoring an area.
