[origin: WO0113474A1] The invention relates to a crimping tool for crimping crimp contacts, in particular, crimp contacts fed in the form of a band to the crimping tool. The inventive tool comprises a press device (1) and a feed device (2) for feeding the crimp contacts to the press device (1), whereby the feed device (2) has an advancing element (3) and means (4) for moving said advancing element (3) in a to-and-fro manner. In order to effect a reliable feeding of crimp contacts to the press device (1), the inventive crimping tool is configured with structurally simple means in such a way that the means (4) for moving the advancing element (3) in a to-and-fro manner comprise two cylinder-piston systems (5, 6) which operate independent of one another.
