Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2796796A1] The system integrates different communication systems for intercommunication between phones and computers. The remote access system for telecommunication and information services comprises a number of telecommunications terminals (11, 13A, 13B) including mobile telephones (11), fixed line telephones (13A) and computers (13B), the latter two sharing an ISDN line connection to a server (40) and communication equipment (20,30). These units are able to transmit messages using SMS (short message service) protocol or SUU (user to user service) protocol. The short messages in use may be pre-programmed within the terminals. Connection between the elements of the communication system may be by TCP/IP protocol in the case of the ISDN line sections, and by CTI link in the case of communication with the telephone exchange.
