Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1205107A1] The Equine Hoof Support System has been proved to increase the bending strength of the hoof wall by virtue of the fact that the high tensile stiffness relative to the hoof wall moves the neutral axis of bending to the outer surface of the hoof wall. This makes most of the hoof wall be loaded in compression increasing its ability to resist bending.
