Abstract (en)
The sole (1), comprising a lower wear layer (10) moulded over a semi-rigid plastic insert (2), and an upper comfort layer, has a rear stiffener (3), also of a semi-rigid plastic material, extending from the heel towards the middle part of the sole. The insert is in the form of a semi-rigid plate of generally rectangular shape, covering the whole width of the wear layer's lower surface on the level of the sole shank, and extending laterally at the sides of the sole to the comfort layer, and has studs (21) of a softer material on its underside.
