[origin: DE10051201A1] The device for flat application of free flowing adhesive to a relatively movable band comprises a slotted nozzle (16) communicating with an adhesive channel in the applicator head, and a slotted outlet opening (18) for delivery of adhesive onto the band. A guiding device (3) is detachably fastened to the applicator head for guiding the band material at the outlet along a defined movement path. The guiding device has a first element (38) which comes into contact with the surface of the band material lying opposite the surface to be glued, and at least one additional element (46,48) which comes into contact with one edge of the band material.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum flächigen Auftragen von fließfähigem Klebstoff auf ein relativ zu der Vorrichtung bewegbares Bandmaterial, insbesondere Möbelumleimer, mit einem in einem Auftragskopf (2) ausgebildeten Klebstoffkanal, einem Auftragsventil zum wahlweisen Unterbrechen oder Freigeben des Klebstoffflusses in den Klebstoffkanal, und einer mit dem Klebstoffkanal kommunizierenden Schlitzdüse (16) mit einem Schlitz und einer länglichen, schlitzförmigen Austrittsöffnung (18) zum Abgeben von Klebstoff auf das Bandmaterial. Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, dass eine Führungseinrichtung (3) zum Vorbeiführen des Bandmaterials an der Austrittsöffnung (18) der Schlitzdüse (16) entlang einer definierten Bewegungsbahn lösbar an dem Auftragskopf (2) befestigbar ist, dass die Führungseinrichtung (3) ein erstes Führungselement (38) aufweist, welches im Betrieb mit einer der zu beleimenden Oberfläche gegenüberliegenden Oberfläche des Bandmaterials in Kontakt kommt, und mindestens ein weiteres Führungselement (46, 48) aufweist, welches im Betrieb mit einer Kante des Bandmaterials in Kontakt kommt. <IMAGE>
