Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1205399A1] The closure for a food container comprising a circular base (1) and lid (2) moulded from a thin plastic material consists of a series of flat tongues (11) projecting inwards round the edge of the circular base, and outward-facing inclined tongues (21) round the edge of the circular lid. The tongues on the lid fit between those on the base, engaging with them when the lid is rotated relative to the base, and having stops on their ends to limit their travel.
