[origin: EP1205418A1] In a housing (1) are two brake jaws (5) via which two steerings (3) are mounted and are freely positionable in a catch position. The brake jaw has a rail (2) via which the force of a spring (4) is used for clamping. The spring is arranged on the steering, which counters the force of the spring along its length. The brake jaws lie next two levers (7, 8) so as to be turnable. The rail rests on the ends (9) of the levers. The spring may be made up of packets of spring plates.
