[origin: WO0115975A2] A sealing conveyor (80) is arranged at the exit of a machine for producing wrapped articles. The conveyor includes a series of packets (82) and carries heat sealing means which may be pivotally mounted. Discharge means (86) operate transversely of the conveyor to transfer sealed articles towards an exit station. Where the articles are packages they may be produced on a twin line machine for subsequent supply to a double bundle cigarette packaging machine. Such packages may contain different number of cigarettes supplied from a hopper (10) by a common transfer conveyor (18) to separate parallel wrapping lines (40A, 40B).
