[origin: EP1206985A1] Continuous casting device comprises an adjustable sliding mold (10) having casting mold parts (3, 4) for simultaneously casting strands (1, 2). The molding parts are connected to each other by a common slidable intermediate part (5) so that at an unchanged position of the outer narrow side walls (6, 6') of the mold, the sum of the casting mold volume of the casting mold parts is constant in all positions of the intermediate part. Preferred Features: Pressing devices (8, 8') are assigned to the intermediate part to press the wide side walls (7, 7') of the mold against the intermediate part. The pressing devices are formed as pressure-controlled hydraulic cylinders.
