Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1207043A2] The folding apparatus has a hopper (8) for the longitudinal folding of the web (6) of material (paper). A first cross-cutting device (20) cuts the web transversely into sectors. A nick opening device (12) between the two sides of the folded web and a second cross-cutting device (10), cutting the material in sectors into nicks.
