[origin: WO0064968A1] Vulcanizable elastomeric compounds having enhanced viscoelastic properties include 100 parts by weight of at least one diene-based elastomer, and from about 30 to about 160 phr of filler. The filler may contain zinc sulfate (with an average particle size of about 0.5-1.0 microns), barium sulfate (with an average particle size of about 1.0-2.0 microns) and/or titanium dioxide (with an average particle size of about 0.05-1.0 microns).
