Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0116435A1] A device for actuating a drainage armature (4) of a flushing tank (2) consisting of a valve body (6) which can be vertically lifted, a sealing element (50) of a drainage valve (48) which is disposed at the lower end of said valve body (6), a first and a second joining element (8, 10) which is connected to the valve body (6) or can be connected thereto, in addition to levers (18, 20) which can interact with said joining elements (8, 10) to effect a low- or high-volume flush when a first or a second actuating element (22, 24) is actuated. The actuating device is in such a way that switching from a two-volume flush to a start-stop flush and vice versa can be carried out easily. In order to achieve this, the low-flush lever which is associated with the first actuating element in such a way that it can be reset to a start-stop flush, and be replaced by a connecting element (26), in such a way that once the switching has occurred and the first actuating element (22) has been actuated, the valve body (6) which is lifted prior to flushing can be moved downwards into a closed position for the drainage valve (48) by means of the connecting element (26).
