[origin: EP1208770A1] The adjusting mechanism for adjusting the height of a table top consists of a first member (11) and a second member (12) connected to each other to form a kinematic screw pair, wherein the first member (11) of the pair acts as a lead screw member and the second member (12) of the pair acts as a nut screw member.
