Abstract (en)
A paper alkaline conservation process is operated in a fluid container. A sheet of paper requiring treatment is placed within a flat gauze (1) bag whose sides are joined at the periphery (2) by sewing or heat welding. The gauze is made of plastic or rubber-coated plastic. The fluid container is a photographic paper processing machine with a series of rollers which transport the bag through the machine and fluid treatment to a drier.
