Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1209363A1] The refrigerant compressor (2) has a low pressure admission chamber (24) with an inlet (14) and an outlet (28). The outlet which is located in a partition (26) leads to a contiguous compressor, electric motor and high pressure chamber. A separate chamber (34) and channel (36) allow electric motor connections to be made and electronic motor control units are housed in the low pressure admission chamber.
