Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1211001A2] Production of a cast part from a ceramic cast mold comprises forming recesses on the cast part through the protrusions (3) of a ceramic insert. The protrusions have an angle ( alpha , beta ) of less than 30 degrees between the central line (10) and the outer edges of the protrusions. Independent claims are also included for: a mold for use in the process; and a ceramic insert for use in the process. Preferred Features: Recesses are produced on the cast part through the protrusions of a ceramic insert which have an angle ( alpha , beta ) of less than 15 degrees between the central line and the outer edges of the protrusions.
