[origin: EP1211209A2] The cross-layer for paper products has a stacking chamber (12) for forming stacks of product. Turntables (32, 34) are mounted on either side of this for turning the stacks through 180 degrees . These are fitted with ejectors (44, 46) for removing the stacks. A transporter under the stacking chamber transports completed stacks from the stacking chamber alternately to each of the turntables.
