Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1211211A1] The system for collating printed material comprises several roller systems (21), over which strips of printed material are unwound from reels. Folders (22 -24) fold each strip longitudinally and each of these is fitted with a transverse cutter which separates them into signatures (122 -124).These are fed on to a conveyor (28) which moves them along for collating. Independent claims are included for: (a) a printing system incorporating the collating system; and (b) a method for collating printed material using the system.
