[origin: EP1211417A2] The double-mouth valve for a compressor head used in an inhalation therapy apparatus is of rubber or other elastic plastic and has a cylindrical end (6.1) with a circular opening. The cylindrical end is surrounded by a plate-shaped edge (6.2). The opposite end (6.3) of the valve has two crossways arranged valve opening edges (6.4, 6.5). In the rest state, both of these edges are closed. When compressed air flows into the cylindrical end of the valve, the valve openings open along the edges (6.4, 6.5) due to the valve vanes (6.7, 6.6, 6.8, 6.9) being braced apart.
