[origin: EP1213104A2] The machine is designed so that to the further grid blades (15, fig.2) of the second blade grid (2), several stabilizers (21, fig.2) in the form of comb type metal strips are guided in slots (15, fig.2). The maximum number of the stabilizers (21) corresponds to the maximum number of grid cutters (3) of the first cutting grid (1), and to each grid blade (3) of the first blade grid (1) is assigned a stabilizer. The thickness of the stabilizers (21) amounts max. 1.5 times, pref. 1.2 times, the thickness of the grid blade (3) of the cutting grid (1). The end faces (25) of the stabilizers (21) facing the first cutting grid (1) are rounded off or chamfered.
