Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1213235A1] The device for emptying a silo comprises concrete tunnels (7) with wide apertures (8) in their walls. These are closed by the side arms (9) of a U-profile which forms a trough between two adjacent tunnels. The side arms contain angled air outlets through which air is pumped to push the contents of the silo to its exit.
