[origin: EP1213257A1] The extruded aluminium vertical members (1) for attachment to a fixed unit or a trolley for horizontal movement are rigidly spaced apart (2) by a plate (3) on sliding blocks (4). A guide rail (7) carrying a lifting member is slidably mounted to two carriages (5) screwed (6) to the plate (3). The lifting path is limited by stop angles (11) and buffers (12). The lifting member is moved by cable (15) and cable balancer (13) attached to the top of the members (1).
