Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1213416A2] The device has a compensation element (20) as an extension of its arm (17) on the joint side with which it can be optionally extended towards its arm on the joint side. The compensation element has a cover (21) which covers at least the free arm (18) of the latch (15) and the cover dimensions are such that it bridges the gap between the door (10) and frame (12) and closes it externally. Independent claims are also included for the following: a door opener with an inventive latch.
