[origin: EP1213425A1] The push rod (2) moves behind the faceplate (1) of the lock. The electric motor (4) in the main lock drives bevel gears (13,14) and pinions which form a reduction gear train (5). The last gear carries a laterally-projecting peg (11) which engages in an arcuate slit (10) in a wheel (6) which engages a rack (7). The rack may be connected to the push rod.
