Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1213538A2] The exhaust gas system for an industrial gas turbine comprises an exhaust gas pipe (12) connected to a stack (14). A Helmholtz resonator (24) is fitted at the junction between the two so that its output zone (30) is at the pressure maximum of an acoustic mode. This damps low frequency vibrations.
