Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1213541A1] The premixing burner system for operating the combustion chamber (6) of a gas turbine comprises a fuel feed unit (2) and air channel (3) which form an air/fuel mixture in a premixing burner (1). This is fed to the combustion chamber and ignited. Part of the mixture is fed through a catalytic unit (8) mounted in front of the combustion chamber where it is converted to a CO2/H2 mixture which is fed back into the residual mixture. An Independent claim is included for a method for operating the system.
