Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1213730A1] The circuit breaking mechanism has fixed contacts, an engagement shaft (300) and moving contacts (400). The moving contacts have two parallel knife sections (420,440). Flexible contact is formed by a flexible grip (500) on the contact arms whilst maintaining mechanical decoupling. Moving the engagement shaft closes the knife section onto the fixed contact.
