[origin: EP1215341A2] Shaft or road gully comprises a subconstruction (10) and a shaft cover having a support frame (30) arranged above the subconstruction and a lid (20) supported on the support frame. A support element (50) for pressure compensation is provided between an upper support surface (11) of the subconstruction and the support frame. The support element and the support frame are designed so that rotation and movement of the support frame against the subconstruction is prevented in a form-locking manner. Preferred Features: The support frame has a lower support frame region (32) connected to the support element which is essentially the same width as the lower support frame region. The support element is made in one piece.
