The floor (1) comprises a U-shaped metal section having two longitudinally folded webs (4,5). Thermal insulation (12) is contained in the space between the webs and there is a reinforced concrete compression slab (14). Between the concrete slab and the thermal insulation is an air space (13) ensuring complementary thermal and acoustic insulation.
