[origin: US6619363B2] In an articulated-arm awning comprising two brackets for supporting the winding shaft and articulated arms, as well as a device for adjusting the slope of the articulated arms, also side faces disposed on both sides of the winding shaft, provision is made for the side faces to be fixed on the outside of the brackets, and for each articulated arm to be connected in an articulated fashion to the inside of one side face, and for the winding shaft to be supported on the brackets.

Bei einer Gelenkarm-Markise umfassend zwei Konsolen (3) zur Lagerung der Tuchwelle (4) und der Gelenkarme (10) sowie eine Einrichtung zur Einstellung der Neigung der Gelenkarme (10) und beiderseits der Tuchwelle (4) angeordnete Seitenwangen (6), ist vorgesehen, daß die Seitenwangen (6) an der Außenseite der Konsolen (3) befestigt sind, daß jeder Gelenkarm (8, 9) an je einer Innenseite einer Seitenwange (6) angelenkt ist und daß die Tuchwelle (4) an den Konsolen (3) gelagert ist. <IMAGE>
