[origin: WO0123708A1] The invention relates to a device for detachably fixing a rounded-shaft tool (5) into a tool bushing which is fixed into a tool holder (1) so that it can be detached. In said device, the interior sleeve of the bushing (10) has an annular groove, into which an elastic fixing ring (13) engages that is located in an annular groove (12) of the tool shaft (11). The device is characterised in that the elastic fixing ring (13) is configured as a slotted, plastic ring which has a rib (16) running around its periphery and that the width of the annular groove (17) on the interior sleeve of the bushing, when measured in an axial direction, is greater than the width of the rib (16) which runs around the periphery of the elastic plastic ring and extends into said annular groove (17). In addition, the front face (18) of the ring rib (16) which faces the tool tip is positioned parallel to the front face of the annular groove (17) on the interior sleeve of the bushing (10), pointing towards said front face of the ring rib.
