[origin: EP1216645A2] A built-in domestic apparatus has a furniture plate attached to the apparatus' front side plus a grille (14) located above the furniture plate for the accommodation of operating and/or indicating elements. The grille has a grille edge (16) pulled down on the front side over the top edge (15) of the furniture plate. The grille consists of a grille box for the accommodation of the operating and/or indicating elements and a grille attachment with the grille edge for covering the upper end of the furniture plate. The grille attachment has an L-shape. The vertically arranged component is located in front of the grille box and the horizontally running component on the grille box.
