Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1217142A2] The shaped part has reinforcement embedded therein the form of reinforcement threads (48) and/or armoured reinforcement. The structural material is initially brought to the desired shape through extrusion pressing. The reinforcement threads have increased tensile strength and higher modulus of elasticity than the structural material. The threads can be introduced into the material as it leaves the mouth of the machine.
